That’s the equivalent of over 160 million school lunches going uneaten every year! 😱

Primary schools tend to generate 55,408 tonnes, while secondary schools add another 24,974 tonnes to the waste pile.

This means that schools are responsible for approximately 13% of all non-household food waste in England.
