Welcome to the Olio Student Ambassador programme 👋
You’re one of our founding Student Ambassadors, and we’re so happy to have you on board. This is your home base: your monthly activities, how to earn your rewards, your referral link, and where to go when you need help.
It’s a 3-month trial, so we’re learning as we go. We’ll always tell you if something changes, and your feedback shapes what comes next.
How it works
Each month you pick activities from the menu below. Every activity is worth points, based on how much effort it takes. Reach 50 points in a month and you’ll earn that month’s reward.
A few things to know:
✔️ You’ll get one reward per month, with the opportunity to earn a few one-off rewards. So there’s up to 5 rewards across the trial
✔️ Some activities are capped each month, so mix it up rather than doing the same thing over and over. It keeps things varied and easy to fit around your schedule
✔️ A couple of one-off activities give you a quick points boost to start
✔️ You’ve got 30 days after each month ends to submit your evidence. Once it’s verified, your reward is on its way
What you’ll earn:
🏆 50 points in a month: a £20 Tesco voucher (up to 3 across the trial)
🏆 100 friends signed up with your referral link: a one-off £50 voucher
🏆 300+ points across the whole trial: an end-of-trial £50 voucher
Everyone also gets an Olio welcome pack (T-shirt, tote bag and a pack of posters and flyers) and a reference for your CV 💚

Pick and mix from these to reach your 50 points, then pop them all into the Typeform at the end of the month.
Submitting your activities
At the end of each month, add everything to this Typeform. You’ve got 30 days from the end of the month, and it’s best to submit all your activities in one go. Each trial month dates are specified in the FAQs and we will also let you know in the WhatsApp community.

📱Social activities: a screenshot and a link to the post (where a link makes sense)
📱Olio activities: a screenshot of your listings, messages or collections, and photos of any posters you’ve put up

Your referral link
Your referral link is how we count the sign-ups you bring in, so use it everywhere you can: in your posts, your bio and your group shares. Here are two ways to find it:
☑️ In the app: tap “Share Olio with friends” for a ready-made message with your link built in, and choose where to share it
☑️ Or build it yourself: add your Olio user ID (on your public profile in the app) to the end of this link: https://share.olioex.com/referral/USERID
Seeing your referrals
You can see how many people you’ve referred on the app in your “My Impact” page – right at the bottom.

The WhatsApp community
This is how we’ll all stay in touch throughout the trial, so it’s the one thing to make sure you’re part of. Everything happens here: we’ll share updates, the monthly points leaderboard, and it’s where you and your fellow Ambassadors can swap tips, ask questions and cheer each other on.
Think of it as your Ambassador home base. Be kind, and don’t be shy about asking anything.
