That\u2019s right \u2013 13%<\/strong> of all food rescued by Food Waste Heroes in September were ready and prepared meals, totalling 144,690 <\/strong>listings! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From sandwiches and salads to pasta, our volunteers helped make sure thousands of portions of perfectly good food get eaten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, fruit & veg made up 24%<\/strong> of all Food Waste Hero listings, and dairy & eggs accounted for 6%<\/strong> \u2013 proof that there\u2019s a whole feast of food being saved every single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
