In today\u2019s world it can feel hard to connect with your local community but we\u2019re excited to announce the launch of Olio Events where you can share skills, experiences and things to do on the app in your local area, or happening virtually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can still share food and household items on the app, but this is just another way to connect with your local community and share with one another. Olio Events enriches the community, promotes sustainability, and celebrates the essence of shared living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding an Event<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The process is as easy as adding another listing on Olio. Simply choose if it\u2019s in person or virtual, add the location or a link, the start date and contact details of how to get in touch. Be it a pop-up picnic, a local musical jam session, or a clothes swap, your event is a click away from local visibility. It doesn\u2019t need to be you organising it either, if you know of an event happening in your local area that you think others might like to know about, you can add it and put the event organisers details instead so people can express their interest about attending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking for a nearby yoga session, a language exchange class, or a pop-up artisan market? Scroll through Olio Events and filter them based on when they\u2019re happening and proximity to you.. It’s the best method to stay updated on community activities and local engagements within your local area. Simply hit \u2018Interested\u2019 if you find something you like, and it\u2019ll save it for you to view the details later and you can contact the event organiser to let them know you want to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
