We\u2019re so grateful for your high levels of engagement and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you weren\u2019t able to make it, or would like a recap, keep reading\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the recording of the full webinar, <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/9fpviTo4DEQ\">watch here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The high-level summary of the webinar is as follows:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>FWH programme: <\/strong>We\u2019re in the process of rolling out 3 initiatives to maximise slot coverage: (1) Automated collection adverts to make it easier for Olio-ers to find unassigned collection slots, (2) Simplified slot limits &#8211; a maximum of 3 per day without any other restrictions (provided that food can be safely stored), and (3) Extended late night collection policy &#8211; ability for FWHs to keep as many items as they wish for collections after 10pm (to be marked as picked up via the app)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Business development:<\/strong> We need to help food retailers sell food at a discount in order to help offset the cost of the FWH Programme, which is why we have the new \u2018Deals\u2019 section to display discounted yellow sticker items and are also piloting \u2018Lucky Dip\u2019 bags<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Upcoming improvements to the app:<\/strong> We\u2019re testing new \u2018Home\u2019 and \u2018Explore\u2019 screens with Olio-ers to provide more personalised and useful views of local listings, and aim to roll them out before the end of this year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Customer satisfaction:<\/strong> We\u2019re going to expand our use of AI to automatically remove disallowed listings from the app, and also introduce a new escalation process for people who have received a suspension or ban<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impact methodology update: <\/strong>We\u2019ve revised our impact methodology calculation to take into account whether or not a food item is consumed rather than simply picked up and subtracted the negative environmental impact of transport emissions from FWHs and requesters, resulting in a ~7% net increase in environmental impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ll publish FAQs covering answers to the most popular questions raised during the webinar in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And before you go, we\u2019d LOVE your feedback on the webinar so we can continue to improve them in future.
