That it would also help her feed her family on a budget<\/strong>, spending just \u00a34.03<\/strong> on a week\u2019s worth of dinners,  instead of her usual \u00a356.69.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her secret? A mix of imagination, community spirit, and Olio\u2019s new partnership with Iceland<\/a>, which showcases real-time yellow-sticker discounts directly in the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olio users can now see real-time yellow-sticker reductions<\/a> from Iceland stores near them \u2013 meaning they can be the first to know about the latest discounted food and pick it up at a fraction of the usual cost, just like Jeannette did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside these discounts, Iceland\u2019s new \u00a0\u00a32 Lucky Dip bags<\/a> \u2013 available to claim through the app \u2013 offer at least eight mystery grocery items nearing their sell-by date, giving users an exciting new way<\/a> to save money while rescuing good food from going to waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And for those who love a freebie, Olio\u2019s Food Waste Heroes programme<\/a>\u00a0 plays a huge part too. Trained volunteers collect surplus food from local businesses\u00a0 such as supermarkets, caf\u00e9s, schools and more \u2013 and share it completely free with their local Olio community through the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
