We\u2019re so grateful for your high levels of engagement and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you weren\u2019t able to make it, or would like a recap, keep reading\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\ud83d\udc9b The high-level summary of the webinar is as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Aiming to get to breakeven in 2027: <\/strong>We had to conduct yet another extremely painful restructuring exercise in December, which means we\u2019re now a team of just 41; however this will enable us to get to breakeven hopefully sometime next year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Important lessons learned from the Christmas period: <\/strong>Christmas is always our busiest time of the year, but also a time that comes with multiple inherent challenges. We\u2019re already working on improvements to make Christmas 2026 smoother than last year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Save Me Collections (SMCs) have had a massive impact: <\/strong>60k+ SMCs are advertised every month, and approximately half are claimed by FWHs &#8211; a great outcome as many of these would have previously gone unclaimed. Even though FWHs are allowed to keep all of their Save Me Collection, 40% of SMCs result in food being shared with the wider community<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Olio will be facilitating donations to charities: <\/strong>Charities will use the Olio app to manage their collections from some stores &#8211; but this won\u2019t impact existing FWH collections<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Continuing to tackle persistent rule-breakers (\u201cbad actors\u201d): <\/strong>We\u2019re taking a 4-step (define-measure-test-automate) approach to address bad actors, and will be seeking input from the community on this soon via a survey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Launching a student-focused marketing campaign: <\/strong>We\u2019re going to launch a campaign targeting students as many are cash-strapped but have enough time to collect food from their neighbours or from stores directly as a Food Waste Hero<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83e\udde1 For the recording of the full webinar, <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/i3g2KTH5utY?si=JXjX_kChsgfS4hIC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">watch here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc9a We\u2019ll publish new and\/or revise existing FAQs to provide answers to the most popular questions raised during the webinar\u00a0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And before you go, we\u2019d LOVE your feedback on the webinar so we can continue to improve them in future.
