During the Christmas season, the amount of waste we generate jumps by almost a third – from leftover food to unused gifts and mountains of packaging. It’s one of the most wasteful times of the year, and so much of it is completely avoidable.

And that 30% increase happens in just a few short weeks 🤯

That’s exactly why our Help Santa Out This Christmas challenge exists. We’re encouraging Olio-ers everywhere  to share items on Olio that could make brilliant presents for someone else. Toys, books, games, toiletries, craft kits, kitchen gadgets… anything that deserves to be loved again.

Every item shared is one less thing wasted, one less thing bought new, and one more neighbour who gets to enjoy a less stressful Christmas 💝
