We know no-contact pickups are a real help, but hot food is the one thing that can never be left out, not even sealed in a box, and not even for a few minutes. Hot food left unattended is a serious food safety risk, which is why it leads to immediate suspension from the programme.
The safe rules for no-contact pickups are simple: ambient food in a sealed plastic box, chilled food in a cool bag or box for a maximum of 30 minutes, and hot food handed over only in person 🌡️
It’s about keeping the neighbours collecting food safely!
