Chilled food must always be refrigerated at 5°C or below. It might seem like a small detail, but it’s one of the most important rules we have – keeping food at the right temperature is what keeps our community safe 🙌
You can leave a small thermometer like this one in your fridge to make sure it’s always at the right temperature
So once you’re home from a collection, get those chilled items in the fridge as quickly as you can. Dairy, cooked meat, deli food, anything that came out of a back-of-house fridge – it all needs to stay cold, so that bacteria won’t grow.
