Thank you to all of you who joined our 11th community webinar today. We’re so grateful for your high levels of engagement and support.
If you weren’t able to make it, or would like a recap, keep reading…
💛 The high-level summary of the webinar is as follows:
- Sainsbury’s update for FWHs: We’ve heard your feedback on challenges like smaller evening collections or there not being food to collect; we’re reviewing the data with the Sainsbury’s team and have interventions planned
- Using AI to resolve login issues: App login issues are frustrating for users, time-consuming for the customer support team, and highly repetitive. We’ve therefore trained an AI model on past tickets, which is already resolving 70% of issues instantly
- Continuing our crackdown on bad actors: New skip/unassign policy is now live, warning system bugs have been fixed, and AI is being used to proactively flag personal allowance abuse. Coming soon: a temporary slot freeze after removals, fixes to post-collection messaging loopholes, and AI-powered detection of FWHs not sharing food widely after collections
- ID verification coming soon: We’ll soon be implementing ID checks for new FWHs and returning FWHs coming off suspensions to prevent suspended bad actors creating new accounts
- Auto-confirm is now live at 82 stores: A new feature that automatically confirms collections in advance, with staff trained to cancel if needed. This reduces admin for sites and gives FWHs clearer information
- Student campaign delivering strong early results: Students use Olio at ~3x the rate of non-students and sign up as FWHs at ~2.5x the rate
